Court Match

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy describes what information Court Match collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Court Match, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Court Match is an online marketplace that connects pickleball players in the Philippines with court owners (“venues” or “businesses”). This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it when you use our website and services.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address, and password when you sign up as a player or a business.
  • Profile information — optional details such as your nickname, city, skill level, and photo.
  • Business details — for court owners: your venue name, address, courts, opening hours, amenities, photos, and GCash payout name and number.
  • Booking & payment proof — the bookings you make and the payment screenshots you upload to confirm a GCash transfer.
  • Usage information — basic technical data (such as pages viewed) needed to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and show your profile.
  • To process booking requests and share the details a venue needs to confirm your booking.
  • To send you notifications about your bookings, events, and account.
  • To display public player profiles and venue listings.
  • To keep the platform safe, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.

4. Payments

Payments are made directly between players and venues through GCash. Court Match does not process card payments or hold your funds, and we never see or store your GCash PIN or password. We only store the payment proof you choose to upload so a venue can verify your transfer.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

  • With the venue you book, so they can confirm and prepare for your visit.
  • With Court Match administrators, to review business applications and resolve issues.
  • When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Public profiles

Players have a shareable public profile (for example, /p/your-id). It shows only public-safe information such as your display name, city, skill level, and season stats — never your email or phone number. Visitors who are not signed in see a limited, blurred preview.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account from your settings; some records may be retained where the law requires it.

8. Your choices

  • You can view and update most of your information from your profile or settings.
  • You can request that your account and personal data be deleted.
  • You can mute or manage the notifications you receive.

9. Cookies & sessions

We use cookies only for essential purposes — mainly to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use them to track you across other websites.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. Please review it periodically.
